The simple answer is: Yes! Both practices complement each other well but the main precaution (along with those already mentioned in the DVDs) is to make sure you take baby steps with both methods, making sure that they are not causing any adverse effects (pain, sickness, etc.) and that you have sufficient rest and sufficient energy to sustain the practice. Yes. Iron Palm/Body should complement your other types of martial arts/sports training. Again, make sure you take sufficient rest and have sufficient energy to maintain health whilst practising, otherwise it can be harmful.

All DVDs and packages come with FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING. Items are usually dispatched within 2 working days. In the event of any delays, we will contact you. For all UK deliveries we use Royal Mail 1st Class which will take 1-2 working days to reach you.

For all international deliveries we use Royal Mail Airmail (except Iron Body Beaters). In our experience, deliveries within Europe usually take 3-5 working days, deliveries to US take around 5-10 working days and deliveries to the rest of the world around 5-12 working days. We can deliver international packages via courier which can reduce the delivery time to 2-3 days at extra cost, please e-mail us to arrange.

Dit Da Jow, Iron Palm Bags and other light items cost £1.49 for the first item and £1 for each additional item in the UK, dispatched via 1st Class. Outside of UK cost is £2.99 for first item and £1.49 for each additional item, dispatched via Royal Mail Airmail. Iron Body Beaters are heavy items and cost £21 each shipped in the UK via courier. Outside of the UK they will be couriered at £40 each.

You can buy pre-made beaters from us here but here are the specifications you need if you want to build your own or have one made for you.

You will 2mm diameter need steel rods, preferably stainless steel but mild steel will do, although is more prone to rust and not as effective.

Our smaller beaters are: 1 inch diameter (with the rods bundled together) and 19 inches long with the handle making up about 5.5 inches of the length.

Our larger beaters are: 1.5 inch diameter 21 inches long with the handle making up 5.5 inches of it.

For the handle use a metal tubing and either glue or weld (get a metal-worker to do it!) the rods to the handle.

IMPORTANT: Once the beater is constructed, carefully bend the rods out from the centre one at a time, to create a broom-like head, otherwise the beater will be too hard and can cause you damage. The finished beater should look something like this:
